Terms & Conditions

Some of our babies are sold while still young and being hand-fed, therefore, we require a 30 - 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to hold them until they are ready to be shipped or picked-up. All deposits are applied to the final invoice.

Final payment, including shipping charges, is due no later than 10 business days of agreed upon shipping date. Failure to send final payment or accept delivery at the agreed upon time will result in the cancellation of your order and forteiture of your deposit.

If required by the State you reside in, a Health Certificate is available at an additional cost of $25.00. DNA sexing is also available at an additional cost of $25.00. We DNA sex only upon request, we do not like to put our babies under any undo stress.

Live Delivery is guaranteed, Any claim must be substantiated by the carrier's exception report sent the same day the shipment is received and the birds closed leg band must accompany this report.

Warranty

You are encouraged to have the baby(s) examined by a licensed avian veterinarian of your choice with 3 days from the time your baby is delivered to you. If, your baby(s) are found to have a condition which seriously affects their health or well-being, Feather's Bird Shoppe, Inc., at its discretion will either refund the full purchase price or replace said baby(s) with the same sex(if known), species and age once the bird(s) have been returned to us.

In the event buyer fails to have the baby(s) examined within the stated 3 days after delivery, then buyer understands and agrees that the sale is one of "as is" condition.

The above guarantee applies to birds that are on 3 feedings only. Hand feeding babies will only be sold to those experienced in the care and rearing of baby birds and are sold "as is".
